(The guy over there to the right [Herbert] looks like Fred Astaire. You know, I remember seeing him dance a jig now and then!)

To the right is another picture of Louannie Jones Ballard (Bester's wife). If you have any information on this family or would like to know more information: |
My 2nd great grandmother,
Louannie Jones was the daughter of Sargent M. Jones and the grandaughter
of Seeburn Jones. In the Tishomingo County 1850 Census Seeburn Jones
lived next door to J. W. Ballard.... I believe that is how Louannie
and Bester knew each othertheir grandparents (and possibly parents)
were neighbors.
FUN STUFF. .Louannie's brother John Quincy Jones married Dollie Fryar. Dollie Fryar's sister was Mattie Fryar. Mattie Fryar's daughter, Pearl, married Louannie's grandson. Simple, look at it this way.... John Quincy Jones was my second great granduncle--and his wife Dollie was my great-grand aunt. |
