Memories

Ruthanne
I remember Mother helping me get a Cooking Badge for Girl Scouts.

Mother going with my Scout Troop on a boat trip on the Mississippi.

Mother almost fainting when I hurt my arm at Gawgie and Big John's house.

Mother helping me with my homework, almost every night!

Mother going with Mrs. Parr to Oxford Ms to see William Faulkner's home place.

Mother crying when she and Myrtle came to see me outside the delivery room right after Anna was born.

Mother being the Neighbor Cookie Chairman for the Girl Scouts in Memphis one year.

This is not a remember one..... but Mother reqretted later for not letting me attend Mimi's funeral. I was 8 and she thought (if she good "think straight" at that moment) was too young to attend.

Mother reqretted not taking me to Germantown so I good continue with Scouts when we moved to Collierville.

When Mother brought Paul to St Mary's for show and tell!
